NW Arkansas, USA.
Well, I thought that sounded like a nice name for this old homestead I found sitting all alone in the woods. It looked like a little doll house, a little fix’in up, and it could be my dream home! LOL!
This style is the Bungalow home, it is the next step up from the long slab houses, as shown in the image, Old Things That Dreams Are Made Of
The siding was actually a little more manufactured as apposed to the rough sawed oak of the slab home.

To me our earth is the masterful creation of God, created and given to us by the greatest artist of all.
Being a photographer, I can only consider myself natures understudy.
All of the ORIGINAL ART is already there, just waiting to be discovered.
The creation inspires my lens, and I enjoy sharing what I see, and yes I copyright my impressions of the ORIGINAL ARTIST, and creator of all things…the God of all gods…..

I love the location, beautiful spot for a homestead. Cool cottage, filled with wonderful history! Dee
What a great photo you can just feel the age of this place.
Gorgeous work!
Very, very beautiful.
How lovely – and what a beautiful setting!
It is a lovely home and blends perfectly in the wood.
A square house, they actually built a lot of them back then. Architecturally there is more space in a square house with the same combination of wall lengths but the rectangular house is just more pleasing to the human eye.

Square house with walls 50 feet long give you 2500 square feet of space with 200 feet of walls.
Rectangular house with walls 75 feet front and back and 25 feet on each end is the same 200 feet of walls but It only gives you 1875 square feet of space inside. Strange but true.
Charming capture:-)
Beautiful! I’m ready to move in…how about you?…Lynn xoxoxo
