There’s nothing like Autumn in the Ozarks Mountains!
This was shot in the Ozark National Forest near Hawksbill Crag.
Back-lighting the leaves with a low setting sun.

At this time I was still shooting film, and had a bad attitude about digital. Soon I saw the era of my ways, LOL!!

To me our earth is the masterful creation of God, created and given to us by the greatest artist of all.
Being a photographer, I can only consider myself natures understudy.
All of the ORIGINAL ART is already there, just waiting to be discovered.
The creation inspires my lens, and I enjoy sharing what I see, and yes I copyright my impressions of the ORIGINAL ARTIST, and creator of all things…the God of all gods…..

I love the rich tones of autumns with the tree trunks contrasting in this explosion of red, oranges and golden yellows.

I appreciate your passion for Fall, my friend! I have actually lived the first 18 years of my life in Knoxville, Tennessee & we visit frequently! So I really appreciate my marvelous mountain visits even more now! As for the four seasons…every southerner will tell you we do have them. They are as follows: Winter, Summer, Salt & Pepper!
