High Dramatic colors added in GIMP 2 to the already very dramatic autumn scene.
I wanted an image that would just jump right out of your screen, LOL! I think I accomplished that!!

This old Arkansas homestead is made from rough sawed oak slabs, and it is done in the board, and laith technique, and style. The rough sawed oak is put up green, and as it cures it woud shrink, and leave cracks. Once the shrinking had finished they would come along with a smaller strip to cover those cracks. You might be asking, why put it up green, then? Well, the answer is…..once the rough sawn oak seasons, it is almost impossible to drive a nail through it.

    Thanks so very much Pat, I really appreciate you letting me know, Lois emailed me as well, and as you know I have spent most all day with this. Every image in her photostream is stolen. A whole bunch of RedBubble images, its the chance we all take when we put our images on line. Thats the great thing about RB community, we all help look out for one another :O)
    The sad thing is the account will be closed, and then they will open another in another bogus name, and do it all over again. I have had to go through this process so many times before. It gets old LOL! Most times I take it as a compliment, but I do go through the legal procedures to have them removed.
