~Remember The Day~02
Combination one room school house, church, community building, and town hall. These structures are scattered through out the Ozark Mountains, and the foothills of Arkansas.
Sooooooo…...
These types of scenes are very familiar to me, living here in the good ol’ natural state. My very first years of school began in a one room school house almost identical to this one, and it is now long gone..
When I look at this photograph, I can still see us all running, and playing in the school yard, and hear all of our laughter, and screaming. All the sounds of the children playing, as we went along in our merry, carefree younger days.
I remember…........

Great old building, the tin roofs needs painting but otherwise it looks to be in pretty good shape. like the bell tower.

A Classic!! We have a few, VERY few, of these icons backhome, too. People in rural North America probably know how special these are.

Maybe…times were hard… for my parents that is…. but we sure didn’t need as much money, and we grew all our food.
Mark Ramstead
They will soon be pretty hard again, as many of us have no idea how to grow food at all…
You live in a beautiful place! I am always fascinated at how many beautiful ways people can live.

Mark it seems Gardening is a dying art, and it is sad that most children do not know where their food comes from……..times are changing…
