This week I donated three sets of greeting cards for the employee giving campaign at my day job. The results were fabulous, and they averaged $20 for each set. Again, thank you redbubble for the great product quality. I have also started handing out cards to people that saw my work posted in the giving campaign. The donations worked as far as marketing. Now I need to figure out how to sustain it.
I have also tried another website (cafepress) to compare products. So far, I’m not impressed with the quality.
I didn’t make it to the local art fair, and the season is closing in my area as winter is just around the corner, but I have met with some local business people, showed them my products, and one asked me to come back. I’m also looking into consignment.
More to come.

Craig, your idea of giving greeting cards as a donations for a charity is a great wonderful. I am going to do that now. I have wanted to raise money for the Toowoomba Hospice and I have been knitting away but giving some of my cards will be much less time consuming. Thanks, Michelle.

Great idea Craig! I as well have been wanting to raise money for a charity (Invisible Youth Network) that helps homeless teens. I will have to give them a try!

The greeting cards work. I sold three variety packs – 5 each. A lot of people commented on the site too.
