I started shooting digital photo’s in 1998, but really got serious when my wife bought me a digital SLR camera in 2005. Since then, I have focused on cityscapes, especially night photos, and just started dabbling in macro photography this summer. As of now, most of my photos are from the Minneapolis area. I really like shooting down near the river at night because of the reflections.
My next purchase will be a good tripod. I have a couple of lightweight models, but with my macro lens, they just are not sturdy enough. They have a tendency to move, especially in the wind.
