As brave as the sky she is
For she will not
Be darkened
By the night
Or downed by the winds’ might
Or drowned away by the rains’ wash
Or covered over by the snows’ bury
For she is as brave as the sky, she is
As brave as the sky she is
For she will not
Be destroyed
By the storms of mind’s whirl
Or lost in its confusion’s fury
Or wrecked by its rumination’s hold
Or undone by its fault lines’ tremor, crack, or quake
For she is as brave as the sky, she is
As brave as the sky she is
For she will not
Be ruined
By hope’s fall
Or annihilated by faith’s obliteration
Or devastated by truths’ opposed in a collision
Or demolished by what comes to take the giving of love’s heal
For she is as brave
As the sky’s release will
Live on will she will
