It Falls a Gift of Inspiration

A creative wind that cannot breathe without you who inhales…

And the wind rushes you.
Spirits your soul’s panging hunger to give.
To give the world some thanks for the air that will be

still breathable by all when you are gone.

It comes to you are the conduit of hope by any voice.
So to pass the ineffable baton of being
with uncompromised integrity beyond the headstone.

There is no selfish end game.
No ego prize.
No keep of oxygen.

Bare your human step is …

One is not the wheel.
One is not the planet.
One cannot hold gravity with pride.

You can f a i l divine.
Be imperfection’s beauty.
Die and still live on as art.

Owning nothing
but the honest truth
in the throws of its inception; acknowledged.

Rip the dire value of your self-importance out.
Be, alone a true receiver’s understanding.
Leave notice of what living gifted you.

Credit the pain,
pleasure,
noise,
sights,
sounds,
and intuit-cells healing live & death.

Love people, the natural world.
Endlessly say " … good-bye." with a thank you.

Inspire!
Let all insatiable hungers die.

Feed the creativity of life.

Come alive in culture as you parent the arts.*

It falls a Gift of Inspiration Based on my experience on become a poet on Red Bubble. Most all the works I oringally posted on RB were inspired by the visual artist here on this site.
Prior to that it was not in me to post my writing anywhere on the net. And only rarely on my own personal website. I love the site. I ahve met so of the finest artist I have ever known here. I have grow to be so belessed by this that I do in all senseirty consider these artists as my friends, my soul’s friend too.

Thank you.

How like a single breath of wind our lives are ……. yet we leave an indelible mark on all we touch …. your words are fleeting yet will live forever!

  • Oh what a tender and insightful comment you leave here pijinlane. How all we breathe contains a creative force. whether or not we are even aware of the creative beings we are; always. How well you receive love’s gift. Thank you.

Author’s Note: The 2nd version (First typed above) was edited to shorten this poem’s word count, to add a lean of brevity, and to bring it to a wider reading audience, via a writing challenge (June 2010) from C.O.R.E. I usually do not enter these, but I feel such kinship with this group. And too has this been a mutual love of creativity. I let the original post of this poem be, rather than deleting it, for those who wish to read both. It makes little difference if one is better, that is by and large the reader’s gift of receiving what they will.
