functionalism 5 Each last moment of you with one is

each last moment of you with one is
always waiting in the leave of hang time
to be exactly older than no time expired
between the past and eternity now again here
you are and so too you were and yet
your sense of being older and wiser is
flashing into presence and questioning the fall of time
all around the full naked changes now undressed
to see or not your controls fear’s holding thoughts
as deeds done like a conscious act
that fooled not you at all or honestly anyone’s soul being
by the wake of your own soul’s hands doing
the dance of primal motivations truly premeditative and still
again here you are all changed in the throw of reminders
here again to see the memories and maturity
you thought yourself to have evolved on from
each last moment of you with one and yet death has still to know
what does in fact transpire through life
as in yesterday’s wait of soul attending
the trials of coming home to ask the opinion
you have formed of yourself to prove itself sustained
in the ever-childhood of becoming age
always

functionalism 5 Each last moment of you with one is by

functionalism a series that explores (Stream of Linear Poetic Conscious) a writing style that streams words and lines into the readers mind. Some may feel this breaks all the rules of writing; and so let it be the painting it is upon your mind’s interpreting construction.

I have always found it to be fascinating that we can track the progress of others toward success or failure so easily. We watch their actions, read their words, and say to ourselves, There he/she goes toward self destruction or This person will succeed despite all odds Yet they can not see the path beneath their own feet. Curious.

    Well written and thought provoking.

  • Again Helen! I so value your comment’s insightful depth within your insightful readings of these works. A huge gift to me, the feedback on this series is very important, since the writing is so experimental. big hug, thank YOU!

in the search of self……can one finally know one’s soul’s destiny…..is one brave enough to face the honesty of deeds done…..face death head on and be clear enough in heart and soul to render death a harmless act and time merely a passing thought…..perhaps in our quest to find our true natures we forfeit the simplicity and purity of it. This had me swirling CC…..precisely why I loved it.

  • Wow Cosimo! Grand Slam! Home Run! Game Over with your words “be clear enough in heart and soul to render death a harmless act and time merely a passing thought” Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow!
