Suite Sound Images of Her

I could play all my life
To hope’s solo
long ends

To bow and pluck
all her intelligent
vines of silemce to move

In keys
that excite her
emotional mind

Or be
a lone pair
In a still life without her

Ripe as time passing
Spoil not
… so to bite her

A harmony of flavors
A symphony of tastes
A melody of tortures freed

Bread
and wine
and lips

Her touch
to reach my spirit
Her flow, mind-senting, wafts

Then rest
—to share her heaving
Composition: Heart and chest

The bass
of all my dreams
stir

To hear
her
passions’ high

On wishes,
thoughts transposed and pleased
… the music we could make
