~ ~ ~

This is your gift
And my humility is seized
As you teach
Through the possibilities
Of understanding

Beyond what is
The windy
Give of love
That is eased into
The air we breathe

A love so simple
In compare
To it’s receiving
Grace
And storms fall

To live through deeds
Both harmed and lost
And still be found
In the rubble
Of received love

My gratitude
Walks bare here
By my ruins
Of fallen
Walls

As we grow
So strong
Beneath the sky
Of our independence
Shared

Your courageous clouds
Always disappearing
To free
The impossible
Bond

For we are not
Pain’s hold
For we are not pain’s past
For we re not
To be possessed by our giving
