She Is Naked

Yes, she is clothed in life’s skin
Aged by fearless weights around each moment gone
Transforming her life throughout ideas of time’s imposture
Imperfect and here as Mona Lisa at home
Tired of the lies that tie others to identities inhuman
And laughing in her mind about the silent slip of time

She is naked

And her being waits for no held expectation
There are no falling doubts; loving will not wear a guise
As everything in life that falls contains its own transcendence
The layers of alone are always ceaselessly undressing
There’s nothing you can wear to hide impermanence of living
There is no fabricated personality you need

You too are naked

You are free to learn the story you tell yourself and believe.
You are free to place your soul away into the future’s passing
You are free to see the way you look and judge your (social standing) fears
You are free to measure no one’s life or nudity of soul
You are free to sell the ownership of a beauty no one owns
You are free to be inside yourself

Completely naked; being; home

Thanks again for the acknowledgment. Glad to have made a tiny but significant connecting moment to another through my visual works and artistic determination. I really like your written piece, the confronted reality of stripping away illusions of life, like clothing, and being naked and comfortable in our barest of essence. I really like the last portion and the irony that is involved with some of the lines, being free to “measure no one’s life or nudity of soul”, and being free to “sell the ownership of a beauty no one owns”. These words, much like the struggle of drawing, the experience of study, and the tumultuous journeys of life, for everyone, is truly a priceless and insurmountable beauty… Hope you take care, stay in touch, Peace-

Thank you, thank you, thank you Robert, I am deeply grateful for your significant contribution, you humble yourself with such grace to deem it tiny. But tiny is how we all begin our lives too.

This artwork truly moved my soul. Naked to such a sound, whole and balanced gift to all who will view her. A masterpiece of divinely humble proportions.

And thank you for pulling the excerpted words of the poem that touched your mind’s meaningful heart.
