ST Registry Series - Enterprise-F Logo by

While many would have ended this series at the Enterprise-E, I thought it would only be right to offer the next Enterprise in line, even if it will never be seen on television or the movies. This ship is exclusive to Star Trek Online, the official massive multiplayer online role playing game that takes place in the primary Star Trek timeline after the events of Nemesis and some of the events in the eleventh movie.

The official diary about the development of the next enterprise can be read in the following links:

The ship is an Odyssey Class vessel, and is spaceworthy and operational around the year 2409, when the game starts. She is bigger and wider than the Enterprise-E (in line with the design precepts with succeeding starships of the line), with some notable design differences, including a two-tiered neck area (in contrast to a single “neck” area, or no neck area, as was the case with the Enterprise-E), a saucer section slightly evocative of the Intrepid-class, and a wider secondary hull. The pennant is also different, becoming more streamlined, which is also included in the design for this shirt.

We know little about her crew or her commanding officer at this time, but those details will be told in an upcoming Featured Episode currently being developed for the game at the time this design is published. In addition, the ship class will be available in the near future for all playable Starfleet characters in game.

In the Star Trek cannon, the ship was developed by the Starfleet Corps of Engineers based out of the San Francisco Fleet Yards. In reality, the ship itself was the final chosen submission in a contest to help design the next Starship Enterprise, with the winner being a fan named Adam Ilhe. Adam, I don’t know if you’re ever going to see this, but I did this in honor of your design. It is beautiful, and definitely worthy of the name it will be given.

Chris is a roguishly handsome and seemingly well-dressed defender of truth and justice that just happens to be a freelance web and graphic designer.
