Atlantic Puffin – Fratercula arctica
Taken with a Canon 7d with a 100-400L series Lens
I took this photo of these Atlantic Puffin up in Northumbria on the National Trust`s Inner Farne Island, just off from the town of Seahouses in the United Kingdom.
This photo was taken the day before floods hit across Northumbia in August of this year. It had been stormy in the morning and I was slightly worried that I had come all the way up from London for nothing, But as soon as I hopped on the boat the skies parted and bright blue skies drifted past, long enough to capture these magnificent birds. As soon as I hopped back on to the boat to head back to Seahouses the skies became grey and it started to rain (which continued for the next few days.)
