Atlantic Puffin – Fratercula arctica
I took this photo of this Atlantic Puffin up in Northumbria on the National Trust`s Inner Farne Island, just off from the town of Seahouses in the United Kingdom.
In this picture a gorgeous puffin separates itself from the pack. These puffins were in the middle of their breeding season and were taking time off to rest on the rocky cliffs, before taking off back out to sea to collect sand eels to feed to the newborn pufflings. You have to love these beautiful birds.
