Mum's Lavender
I took this photo at my Mum’s, of the lavender growing in the front garden. It was grown from a cutting of her mum’s lavender. It’s become a bit of a family tradition… we all know it as ‘mum’s lavender’.
This photo was challenging as the wind was blowing, making a sharp macro focus difficult. I am pleased with the abstract result that the movement has created. Adding to the look, was the sprinkler on it the background. Everyday things, creating beauty!
I took a few, and many that were in good focus, but there’s something about this one.. its my favourite. I hope you also like my mum’s lavender.
