I like the composition. Is it sunset time? Do you have the same shot with night lights on? I can see the series of street lights going to the dome. Night shot might be magical??

Hiroshi, i like the idea re the night shot. I will definitely follow that one up and repost. Re the timing, it was actually taken at Sunrise, not sunset. Sunset would be interesting at specific times of year (not now i suspect as the Harbour Bridge blocks the golden light). At night, the light will hit the face (should be beautiful :)

Beautiful classic shot. Nice tones perfect time of the day for a shot of the Opera House.

Nice shot mate – unusual view – don’t ever see this angle in shots. Good stuff.

Mark, i’d walk past here about twice a week for the past few years and never really appreciated the angle while crossing the road. I think the traffic normally keeps you hopping. At 5.30am however it was quiet on the road, and the sunrise really threw the light around in a surreal way. I don’t think i’d ever noticed sunlight on the undercarriage of the bridge before.

Well composed image, Gayan. The play of light is fantastic. Who knew sunlight would even hit the undercarriage of the bridge??? Glad you noticed!

beautiful composition. My favourite spot Darling Harbour and Circular Quay. Been to Sydney 3 times in the last 18mths from Qld. You captured the 2 great icons with perfect morning light. I can just about feel the freshness of the morning before the rush begins,,,,,,,Sandy
