I wanted to create something a little different from this tree. It seemed to have a lot of character and reminded me of something out of a scary movie or a fairy tale. This is the final outcome-I do have one that stays still but this one jumps out at you! don’t look too long because you may get a headache. Featured in: A Beautiful Blur,
There’s a movie called Oasis—not for everyone, sensitive love story with some difficult parts related to handicaps of the main characters—in which the female lead lives in an apartment with shadows coming thru the window of the tree in front of the apartment building, and the shadows scare her. The male lead was being taken off to jail by a family unsympathetic to their love, and the last thing he did before they captured him was to saw off the branches that frightened his One True Love. This picture here (SOTIM) captures that scariness really well.
I’ve never heard of the movie but now I’ll have to go find it! This is an image I’ve really wanted to do something with for a while-I’m glad it came out the way it did!
