For those who dont know my grey angels story!!!

Stormy our newfy puppy holds a very very huge part of my heart , that she took when she passed away just over a year ago!! We only had her for a short time!
She came to us all the way from New Zealand at the age of 9weeks and at the age of 11 weeks we found out she had a rare bone disease in her front legs that was causing the bones to grow at different rates and causing them to bow and grow out and her elbows were growing away from her body!! We were told this would be her death sentence and to put her to sleep.. but we couldnt not with out giving her every chance ..so we did eveything we could special diet, physo, swimming and hoped and prayed that she would be ok .. we knew she would never normal but ok and no pain would be fine with us!!.. but sady at the age of 7mths she had grown so big that her legs couldnt take her weight and she was in pain so we had to let her go!!
it was the HARDEST day of my life!!

This was painted from a photo i had taken of her about a month before we lost her !!

    Stormy is gorgeous! What a horrible thing to have to go through Cazzie….I had to have my horse put down years ago thru bowl cancer, and I still remember it as if it were yesterday. Just think though, little Stormy is looking down on you now! (hugs)

    Thanks so much Pen!!! it doesnt matter how long or short a time we have them.. they sure to leave paw or hoof prints on our hearts dont they!!
    but you know if it hadnt been for this special girl, i would never have started painting !!! she was the first thing I ever painted :))

    My first thought when I saw this was OMGosh what an adorable puppy you have, but then I read your description! I’m so sorry for your loss. I can relate as I have a golden at the moment who was diagnosed at 11 weeks with a fatal heart condition..thankfully just turned 1 but dr says as the condition worsens the heart will just give out. So I will love him while I have him. Again, I am so sorry for your loss and I am sure you gave her ton’s of love while you had her.
