Wonderful portrait of these glorious little birds, we used to have these, and one year a little black one hatched out 10 babies in a nest under a hedge in the snow, the children loved gathering mother and babies up and putting them inside the hen house. We were all so proud of her dedication sitting there in that weather. They hold a special place in my heart. hugsxxx
