I took this at a wildlife park, he was sitting in some shade with a small shaft of sunlight across one eye.
With a bit of work in photoshop, he looks wild!

Your Photoshop work has made this creature more real not less, as it has liberated him from captivity. Fine, precise, and sensitive treatment of a noble being – noble unless you’re a rodent in his claws, I suppose.

Wow, what a fantastic shot. The contrast between lights and dark and the use of negative space really emphasizes the owl. It definitely says nighttime in my element when looking at this photo.
