Collage of Fireworks over Kansas City, Missouri, Skylineby Catherine Sherman
On July 4, 2009, I took these photographs from the former BMA building, which stands on one of the highest spots in Kansas City, Missouri. Fireworks were exploding everywhere. A haze hung in the air. You can see some of the icons of Kansas City, including Union Station, Liberty Memorial (the tall column) and the four “hair curlers” of Bartle Hall in the distance on the left in some photos.
