This painting is partly inspired by the neighbor’s beehives but also I wanted to add an ethereal and fantastical element. I was so happy with the blue I used in ‘Transcend’ with natural pigments that I wanted to use those again.

This is quite a small work but I wanted to try and work with shaping the string without gluing it on a structure. The shapes are hollow and I literally sculpted with the string to give them that conical shape.
