This was painted from a photograph by Tracy Wallace entitled ‘Reaching’. I’m very grateful to Tracy for allowing me to use her image. I hope I did it justice.
Original now sold and I have a commission based on this.

Yes, it’s fabric, it sits slightly off the canvas,difficult to show in a photo though.

I’ve been so nervous about showing you. You can never have it as good as the photo especially as I used fabrics which ‘jump’ from the canvas but I tried very hard. I’ve put on the description that I’ve used your photo and I’ll mark it on the back of the painting too.

Thanks Tracy. Incidentally, I had to send off images to the gallery in the UK for their press release and I included gerbera. It was one of their favourites! It will definitely be going into the show which will start 5 April and end 1st June in Worcester, UK. Make sure you have that private jet ready! LOL!
