This is so very eye-catching. I’m looking hard into it and I can’t figure out what you did. It looks so very real. Knowing the size might help. Looks like you’ve used string for the outer filaments and some other kind of medium for the inner, and then painted the “eye” over the top. Very beautiful work.

Thanks Carol. This is a fairly small one, 45×45cms, the other peacock feathers is 80×60cms. It’s all done in string, then overpainted with acrylic and iridescent medium.
