Trekking Along - Sepia by Cathy Klima

Trekking Along - Sepia by

I originally submitted this photo in color. Based on feedback, I changed it to sepia, added a little more contrast and saturation.

This photo is the result of “things you do when you ride over 2,000 miles in one summer”. . . . Is taking photos while riding a bike like driving while talking on the cell phone? . . . .I liked the feeling of movement in this shot. It was taken on the rural roads near Paoli, WI, with a Nikon Colorpix L3. Comments welcome.

This photo was previously admitted to the group Photography 101. I like it alot, however, the group guidelines ask for an explanation in your description about the photography aspects of the work. Can you please give more detail about your camera, lens, settings, what photography techniques you used, etc? I’ll check back again later to see if it meets guidelines, but if not, I will have ot remove it. Please remember its not a personal thing, but we would liek this group to be a learning group for others. You can resubmit it at any time with the forementioned changes! Thank you!
