This rock is just south of Pt. Piedras Blancas on the Central Coast of California. On January 13, 2010 the seas were at around 25 – 30 feet. This rock stands about 60 feet tall, so the spray must be at least 80 feet tall EF 75-200 2.8L IS USM Lens at 200mm

    Very dramatic! I love the contrast between the relative calm of the ocean surface and the explosion of water around the rock. The B&W conversion works well as it emphasises the four elements (ocean, sky, rock, spray).
