24×36 oil on canvas, 1,433 viewings, 58 faves I painted the Ballerina, for my daughter Cathy, when she was in High School..she LOVED everything Ballet…. and was given a beautiful book on the subject.. this was her favorite picture…and asked me to paint it for her….. I used the same technique, as I do for all my portraits, first with a charcoal drawing, then an under painting…and the final stage, the color…..
