She loved the internet. It was a fount of useful information.

Some said she spent too much time on it – no housework done cause she’d been looking for shoes on eBay … the kids didn’t complain about takeaway every night though, downloading music, she’d forgotten to go to the supermarket.

Her hubby did, she fell asleep in front of her computer every night, head on arms on her desk …. although he’d stopped complaining about it recently. In fact, he’d been working late quite a lot lately …. time to check his emails, she thought.

One of her friends did. The one her husband was sleeping with. The one whose car slammed straight into the wall, the last of the brake fluid from the cut hose draining away just like her blood was draining into the upholstery.

She loved revenge. Almost as much as she loved the internet.
