I love deserted looking places like this… and yes, the chicken (and the clouds) somehow makes the photo special. I like the off-center composition. ;)

Ah, so it was you up in this neck of the woods the other day photographing the Burra Ruin. I knew I should’ve got hubby to stop.

Excellent capture Cathie especially when the sun always seems to be in an awkward position on this old hotel. Hotel Orlando has been for sale for quite a long time, but unless there’s a gold rush in the area I think it’ll stay for sale.
