The Old Schoolhouse by

at Beltana – outback South Australia.

Last used as a school in the 1960’s … after it closed, the kids travelled to Leigh Creek for school.

There is no distortion in the shot – it really is that small!!

Thanks Craig, Andrew and Oddpixels … I could have spent ages there, except for the unavoidable presence of one very photo intolerant 7 year old!! Eh, there’s always next time – this is my second trip there!!

Lovely image Cathie, I went through Beltana in my younger years and also worked at Blinman up that way. Typically Australian!

Nice shot Cathie. I have to ask about the windmill. Your decision to keep it slightly in the view. Why not all or nothing. I am curios.

Thanks for looking Thomas … I just felt that the house needed a little room out the front!!
