Just outside of Blinman – left to decay with the remains of a Jeep, a house and an old Holden ute.

Thanks for the heads up Lance! (Title edited from Vauxhall)

A mother.

I’m tired.

Hi, my name’s Cathie – although I am mostly animated and a bit of a character – I am a real person and like to think of myself as a digital artist. I occasionally revert to my original persona – taking “straight” photos!

Been there… seen that… and on my RB site too!!! LOL

Have a look at these two links to see a couple of my uploads of the same vehicle… seen better days and rusty the wreck to see the same wreck from a couple of different views.

It is an intresting spot to walk around and see much detritis and leftovers from years ago. There are acouple of other photos I took there that I should upload… hopefully soon!

You have captured the vehicle and surrounding well Cathie!!!

PS… I hope my typing of the links work!!!

Whow… the links worked… and I have this vague recollection that it is a Humber!!! I will try and get some sort of verification on this! LOL

Also, I won’t put the links here, but I did a little playing around with some small sections of the photos to create a few “kaleidoscopes”… have a look in my gallery to see what I mean.

    I reckon it’s a Humber. (Snipe?Super Snipe)
If I remember rightly Vauxhall and Holden’s parent company, along with Opel is/was General Motors
    so they all look alike.
All these shots of Aussie take me back to my youth in the 60s when I was there for 2 and half years with the RAF.
PS I love this photo of the old wreck. I’ve had an idea for a painting of an old wreck for a painting for ages. just been waiting for the right references.

Phase 1 Vanguards (1948-) did have split windscreens! So this could be one.

My mother in law looked at it the other night and said straight away … Vanguard …

I was only kidding about the Volkswagen!
