Equal Love

Hey y’all ..

After a random FB conversation with a colleague, grumbling that it was only Target in the US that was donating proceeds from sales of their PRIDE range to LGBT groups, Shirts4Equality was born!

In less time than it took me to design the first three tshirts, Brodie had constructed an entire website, hooked up an RB account, and the concept of you – the public deciding which local Aussie LGBT organisation received all the money from the current month’s sales!!

So here’s the thing. I’m a nice person, but not all that prolific when it comes to tshirt designs …

We’d like to ask you to donate a design … around the themes of equal love, marriage equality – hell, actually a person’s right to love whoever they want.

All you&…

Meet Lyla

Evening all …..

Just a quick update to advise the much awaited arrival of Miss Lyla Sky.

Born to Hayley and Craig at 2.25am (16th August 2011), weighed 8lb 3oz and is 52cm long.
First grandchild of Mark, Cathie, Elaine and Michael she is going to get spoilt rotten!!

PS. She may or may not have the odd photo taken over the next few years!!

Why, oh why, oh why ....

Do people who claim to be disgusted, etc etc at the way this website is administered stay here.

I have said this before, and I will say it again.

If you don’t like the place, leave.

And when I say leave, I mean it – don’t open other accounts – pack up and go.

I've been away .....

For those of you who are wondering where I’ve been for the last week or so ….

On the 7th of April, I slipped over in the back yard and broke (well cracked) really, the bone in my leg … tibula… fibia…. whatever …. the big one!!

What with Easter and the like, I was lucky enough to not have to take too much leave to cover appointments and whatnot …. got myself some crutches and a wheelchair – great for zipping round the house – without too much effort.

April 29th. I was actually having a day of annual leave, Mark was having day surgery to correct a problem with his septum from a car accident about 20 years ago – his dad was picking him up from the hospital – and my mum had come round to our place to hang out and do some washi…

Waiting for You

Just a quick reminder to all that all proceeds of the sale of this work in any format will be donated to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital!

Going to Melbourne

Hey all.

Mark and I will be in Melbourne next weekend – and will be lurking round the information booth in Federation Square at 10am on Sunday looking for random bubblers!

Let me know if we should be looking for you.

RIP Lady

Tonight, somewhat suddenly but not unexpectedly, I lost a good friend.

I can neither take nor give credit for this poem but it’s so true.

If you can start the day without caffeine,
If you can get going without pep pills,
If you can always be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains,
If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles,
If you can eat the same food everyday and be grateful for it,
If you can understand when your loved ones are too busy to give you much time,
If you can overlook it when those you love take it out on you when through no fault of yours, something goes wrong,
If you can take criticism and blame without resentment,
If you can ignore a friend’s limited education and never correct him,
If you can resist treating a rich friend better than a poor friend,…
