Functional – but somehow not as romantic as the old ones.
Built and automated in 1972.

I think that looks pretty impressive. Looks as though it’s a big spike fallen to earth.

That’s what it is!! It’s supposed to be bigger at the bottom … I couldn’t work out why it bugged me so much!!
