Located across the River Torrens, Adelaide, South Australia.
This bridge was opened on 9 August 1937 and is reported to be the first welded steel bridge in South Australia.
The bridge holds a somewhat dark history. In May 1972 law lecturer George Duncan was bashed and thrown over the bridge into the Torrens River where he drowned. Two police officers were acquitted of the crime 14 years later.
