hello… i am a graphic designer, photographer and illustrator living in the little coastal town of Knysna, South Africa.

Having worked in the branding and design industry in London and Johannesburg for 8 years, I moved to Knysna to live a life “worth living” – one of greater meaning… if you know what I mean!

I studied a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Psychology in Cape Town, and then a diploma in Graphic Design. This background influences much of my work.

I recently re-read my textbook on Carl Jung’s psychology and this quote expresses my thoughts perfectly:

““The artist is not a person endowed with free will who seeks his own ends, but one who allows art to realize its purposes through him. As a human being he may have moods and a will and personal aims, but as an artist he is “man” in a higher sense – he is “collective man,” a vehicle and moulder of the unconscious psychic life of mankind.”
