Charcoal drawing on 110gsm Cartridge paper. Done especially for drawing day with special thanks to Rebecca Tun for giving me permission (although a fair while ago) to do a drawing/painting from her photograph “Portrait of a girl”. I have an exhibition in two weeks and should be working on that but just had to get something done for “Drawing Day”. 20 minute drawing using charcoal pencil and chalk pastel.

This is Rebecca’s picture.
I am an artist from the North Coast of NSW, utilizing my Graphic Design skills to generate thought processes in Adobe Photoshop. I then translate my designs onto canvas using mixed media, ie acrylic, ink, pastel, gold leaf etc. I also work intuitively with colour straight onto the canvas letting the flow of paint dictate the composition. I can relate to the Bowerbird, as I am drawn to blues and turquoises, collecting my treasures from the artists universe to produce my work.
