I don't feel like dancing today 5/10
Self portrait for challenge. Combination of two charcoal drawings and acrylic painting put together in photoshop. May still develop this some more as in make it a total painting, drawing or mixed media on canvas or paper.
This is me not so happy, not so sad. Kinda inbetween today. Even though I don’t feel like dancing the glass is half full…...
Ok some explaination…. Some people say my eyes are green, others say they are blue. I’m not really sure….. they change. Three of me, well there is the crazy out there somewhere artist, the caring nurturing mother, and the third me the third eye they call it. I see things, know things don’t know how that happens but I do.
So there you go letting you see some more of me.

how expressive and fabulous Cate, i can truly see your eyes and hair depicted, and the essence of your soul in that look. Wishing you could be a 10!! But know how it is to range the full spectrum too, as a wise friend reminded me today, we are to ‘live and let live’ ... to glory in watching our friends walk their own journey and revel in each others discoveries as our light grows and shines more and more brightly with each step…even when there is darkness… our lights will shine more brightly, many hugs xoxo

“expressive and fabulous”.... how wonderful of you to say that and thank you Karin I am so glad you can see me. It’s all just numbers anyway. One can feel a 10 one minute a 1 the next, especially when you are a sensitive soul.

this is also a very intuitive work Cate… gorgeous…i love how you say your eyes are sometimes green/sometimes blue, same with my dad ;) x

I only noticed that my son Danniels eyes are the same. I thought them to be a beautiful blue like my nan’s. Today they looked more green so there you go another one..

I know exactly how you felt when you painted this…or at least it brings up strong feelings in me, of me trying to split myself …and the ups and downs sensitive people can go through in a day…in an hour! Awesome painting! (My eyes are green and blue too! :)
