Artist's Description

This is the fourth image in my Through the lens series.

As a photographer, sometimes you have to work really hard to get the shots you need at a wedding. This particular one was no exception. The church was very small and narrow with a single narrow aisle up the middle and pews that would only fit three abreast each side, “No flash during the ceromony and you can’t block the aisle” said the female minister, rather more sternly than was neccessary.
I spent most of the ceremony in this position. I eventually managed to get the shots I needed, but I’m not going to forget this view in a hurry.

Nightmare!

Fortunatly I did have a backup plan… a video camera set up on the window sill on the right, looking straight at the happy couple.
