Mulla Mulla is a Western Australian wildflower which appears quite spectacular as it thrives on the side of outback highway roads. This shot was taken in the Pilbara region of WA.
Terrific shot Richard with great DOF and wonderfully true colouring. Thanks for posting it in our Western Australia group. Regards, Peter
Thanks Peter. Was great to see these flowers breaking up the often monotonous red earth skirting the highway. I am loving the Western Australia group – well done to you guys to establishing!
Great shot Richard. I’ve got an image of a round one of these (Pom Pom). They are like cotton wool in a way. Don’t forget to enter the wildflower challenge
Thanks Elaine – Mulla Mulla sure is a welcome sight as you travel the remote highways of WA.
