You should have seen what this looked like originally. The lighting was so bad, I’m amazed I was able to pull anything out of the shadows. I think that’s what lends that airbrushed ‘80s vibe, which I’ve always liked, but in this case it was an emergency manouever rather than a deliberate aesthetic attempt!
Jacqueline – it is a self-portrait. With stuff like this, I’m a big fan of the Dodge and Burn tools in Photoshop. The Dodge tool gives those plasticky, unnatural highlights.
BB – yep – formic acid – ants – also formaldehyde – same compounds. Nasty stuff, but I’m still addicted to sodas. Do they have Diet Rite in Belgium?
