This is the second picture I ever created. I named it “Wind Rhythms” because there was something about the colors and flow of the brush strokes that reminded me of the Chicago wind. I grew up in the ‘Windy City’, and as a child the wind both fascinated and frightened me. Since my first painting was created by accident while I was experimenting with the different colors and brushes in the MS Paint program, THIS was the first abstract I deliberately created! (If you’re reading this would you please write “YES” in the “Leave a comment” box below. I’m just curious how many people, if any, are reading this far into the descriptions. Thanks.)

I’m Jana Gilmore, a “Digital Folk Artist” who uses MS Paint to create eclectic abstract paintings. I first discovered this talent three years ago, and I’ve painted more than100 abstracts since then. The more I use pixels to paint, the more creative I become. I can’t wait to see what I’ll come up with next !
