A semi-secret technique created this “J. Pollocky” effect. A favorite Joni Mitchell song inspired the title:
“Night in the city looks pretty to me.
Night in the city looks fine.
Music comes spilling out into the street.
Colors go flashing in time.”

I’m Jana Gilmore, a “Digital Folk Artist” who uses MS Paint to create eclectic abstract paintings. I first discovered this talent three years ago, and I’ve painted more than100 abstracts since then. The more I use pixels to paint, the more creative I become. I can’t wait to see what I’ll come up with next !

    Great work Jana!

  • Dear Bernhard,
Thank you so much for the acknowledgement. I’m still pretty new to Red Bubble (started less than a month ago) and although I’ve already had my work featured in over a dozen different galleries – which is very encouraging to a new artist such as myself – when compared to the other artists I’ve viewed who receive many, many comments on each one of their pictures, I’ve gotten very few personal responses. Your three words mean more to me than all the galleries that featured my work this month!
    Jana
