Burning Feeling

I have a burning in my soul
I feel it there as black as coal
Is this burning feeling rage
Waiting to explode out of my ribcage
Or could it be the anticipation
Of waiting for my probable interigation

I have a burning in my heart
I feel it there like a poison dart
Is this burning feeling love
Locked away for a wedding day dove
Or could this feeling be of pain
Bubbling its way throughout my vains

I have a burning in my head
I feel it there like a block of lead
Is this burning feeling hurt
That brings you to your knees in the dirt
Or could this feeling be confusion
Pieced together from my sleeps illusions

I have a burning in my gut
I feel it there like an infected cut
Is this burning feeling excitement
Thats building up for a special moment
Or could this feeling be of meaningless
That has manufactured my emptiness

All i know is that the burning is there
And it tourtures me without a care
I absorb the dissapointment in your tone
It passes through my skin and attacks the bone
Please stop, please make it go away
I feel the burn with every word you say.
