Great camera shop in Melbourne? by Caroline Swinburne

I’m off to the camera store tomorrow to get a lens converter for my Canon G9 so that I can fit a polarised lens onto it. I’m thinking about extra lenses too because I’m off to Singapore in a few days and I’d like to go round being (pretending to be) a photographer for a day… I don’t have any knowledge of fitting other lenses onto what amounts to a point & shoot camera though, so hopefully the people at the store know their stuff.

Any recommendations for a great (GREAT!) camera shop in Melbourne? One where they know their stuff and have plenty of stuff in stock, rather than “this one may or may not work, here it is in the catalogue, pay in advance and that will be 6 weeks wait”?
