Spring Color by

Tried to capture the first blooms of spring in this little still life photo last year. I especially tried to capture how the sunlight hit the petals and glass causing the twinkling reflections on the white shelf. Revisiting this shot now to try to give my eyes a little rest from all the ice and snow that is falling today.

Shot with a Kodak EasyShare DX6490 zoom digital camera.

I just love this photo, it is composed in such a romantic way in my opinion.
The exposure has been wonderfully handled also.
    All the best Carolyn.

  • I appreciate your words of encouragement, Peter! Many thanks!

i like the drawing of the cat in the background….one of yours?

  • Wow, you are really observant, Sandra! Yes, that’s one of my drawings — it’s actually a watercolor pencil drawing of a cat I spotted in a window in Tuscany a few years ago.
