i love the close relationship of the clours and offset placement of the vase itself. The shadow balances the composition as it stretches across the canvas.

thanks for your comments. I took the photo to paint it for an exhibition , Boo hoo – it never sold but these colours will go in my kitchen . I think I prefer this one now.
