Spirits of the Flame
Pastel on pastel paper. My partner and I were looking after a property in Central Queensland called “Cairo”. It was hot and dry and there were many electrical storms that caused grass fires. I was in the homestead when this particular fire started. I stood captivated watching the spirits leaping & dancing out of the flames!
