This painting is acrylic on back stapled stretched canvas. It is 11"w x 14"h. It was inspired by ancient legends of the spirit figure Kokopelli, who was considered to be a flute playing bringer of fertility and rain to the arid North American Southwest. Today Kokopelli is still a favorite image and is a mainstay in art galleries in New Mexico.
