“Enjoying and Creating is the fabric of an artist’s nature.”
- Carol M
“… an artist should paint from the heart, and not always what people expect. Predictability often leads to the dullest work, in my opinion, and we have been bored stiff long enough I think.”
― E.A. Bucchianeri, Brushstrokes of a Gadfly

I have been taking pictures for many years and am very passionate about photography. Sometimes I think my camera has become a part of my anatomy. I especially love the colors and subjects of nature but just about anything can catch my eye. I am always looking for an interesting subject. I have such varied interests that’s it’s been hard for me to find my niche. I’m just visually impressed by so many things – so you never know what is coming next!
I enjoy both film and digital mediums but in more recent years, I have been making the shift to mostly digital photography and digital art. In addition to digital photography, I also enjoy creating pieces that look more like works of art.
As you view my pictures, you may notice some that appear to look more like a painting or artistic creation. Many of those pieces started as a photograph and were digitally enhanced or manipulated to produce a more artistic presentation.
Recently, I have also enjoyed creating patterns and other forms of digital art not related to photography. I love all kinds of art.
I am happy to share my vision with you and I hope that it touches you in some small way.
